Conroy Development has been involved with the following sustainable development projects:
- Brownfields development
- Construction and demolition recycling
- LEED and Energy Star
Located on the roof of our newly constructed Boston Seaport Self Storage facility, Conroy Development’s first solar installation features 140 kW roof mounted solar system using 576 ET solar panels. The system will provide enough electricity to cover the entire electric utility bill for the building in addition to selling excess capacity to the local grid.
Collaborating with our investment partners, Conroy Development is permitting a 101.75 MW wind farm in northern New England that will feature a total of 37 General Electric wind turbines, bringing sustainable power to the local grid.
Conroy Development is in the preliminary stages of permitting and developing over 1,000,000 sf of modern data center facilities that will rely on hydro electricity to provide redundant and sustainable power for as little as $.05 per KW hour.
Conroy Development has managed the redevelopment of various sites that have qualified for the Massachusetts Brownfields Tax Credit program using various remediation and environmental solutions under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) such as Activity and Use Limitations (AUL), Comprehensive Response Actions (CRA) and Release Abatement Measures (RAM).
